Our investment in a robust team of 20-30 full-time QC professionals is a testament to our commitment.

This is not a peripheral group but a core function of our factory. Each member is specially trained in various aspects of jewelry appraisal, from gemology and metallurgy to finishing techniques and structural integrity. They are organized into specialized units, ensuring expert focus at every stage:

  • Material Specialists who verify the authenticity and grade of all incoming precious metals and gemstones.
  • In-Process Inspectors who monitor the production line with a watchful eye.
  • Final Audit Experts  who perform the last comprehensive check before shipment.

Imposing Strict Standards on Technical Design and Product Quality

The journey of a perfect piece begins with its digital blueprint. Our technical design team, working in close collaboration with clients, uses state-of-the-art CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to create highly precise 3D models. At this stage, we impose strict standards to ensure:

  • Structural Integrity: We analyze the design for potential weak points, ensuring that clasps are robust, prongs are proportionate and secure, and the piece can withstand everyday wear.
  • Manufacturability: We refine the design for optimal production, ensuring that details can be perfectly cast, stones can be securely set, and the piece can be finished to a high polish.
  • Aesthetic Fidelity: We ensure the digital model accurately reflects the creative intent, paying close attention to proportions, symmetry, and overall visual balance.

 Before mass production begins, we create physical prototypes. These prototypes undergo a stringent evaluation process, serving as the tangible benchmark for quality. We strive to make our products perfect by iterating on these samples, making micro-adjustments until every curve, angle, and setting meets our—and our client’s—exacting standards. This sample then becomes the official reference for the entire production run.

3. The Backbone of Our Assurance: A Comprehensive Quality Control Process

(IPQC & OQC)

Our quality control process is a structured, documented system designed to catch and correct any deviation at the earliest possible stage. It is built on the twin pillars of In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC).

  1. In-Process Quality Control (IPQC): Vigilance During Creation

IPQC is our proactive approach to quality management. It involves continuous monitoring and inspection of products while they are still in the production line. This is critical for preventing a minor issue from becoming a batch-wide problem, saving time and resources.

Our IPQC checks are conducted at defined critical control points:

  • After Casting: We inspect raw castings for defects like porosity, metal inclusions, or incomplete details. Each piece is carefully cut from the tree and examined.
  • After Pre-Polishing: We check for any surface imperfections, ensuring that the metal base is smooth and ready for further processing.
  • During and After Stone Setting: This is one of the most critical stages. Our inspectors, often using high-power magnifiers or microscopes, examine every single stone to ensure it is:
    • Securely Set: Prongs are tight and even; beads in micropavé are uniform; channels are smooth.
    • Undamaged: No chips or scratches were introduced during setting.
    • Properly Aligned: Stones are level and correctly oriented for maximum brilliance.
  • After Final Polishing & Plating:We inspect the final finish for a high, consistent luster, ensuring it is free of scratches, polishing compound residue, or uneven plating. We verify plating thickness and color consistency across the entire batch.

At each of these stages, IPQC inspectors use detailed checklists and calibrated tools like calipers, electronic scales, and loupes. Any non-conforming item is immediately quarantined, logged, and either corrected or rejected.

  1. Outgoing Quality Control (OQC): The Final Gateway

After a piece has passed all IPQC checks and is considered complete, it must pass one final, rigorous evaluation—the Outgoing Quality Control (OQC). This is the last gate before a product is approved for packaging and shipment to you. OQC is a comprehensive audit that simulates the perspective of your most discerning customer.

Our OQC process includes, but is not limited to:

  • Visual Aesthetic Check: A final overall assessment for beauty, finish, and overall appearance.
  • Functionality Test: Testing all moving parts—clasps, hinges, locks—for smooth operation and security.
  • Dimension and Weight Verification: Confirming the piece matches the exact specifications and weight tolerance agreed upon.
  • Final Gemstone and Security Check: A last look to ensure all stones remain secure and undamaged after the final assembly.
  • Marking and Stamping Verification: Ensuring that purity stamps (e.g., 925, 18K) and any brand logos are clear, correct, and properly located.
  • Packaging Inspection:Verifying that the presentation boxes, pouches, and certification cards are clean, undamaged, and correctly paired with the jewelry item.

Only batches that achieve a 100% pass rate in our OQC audit are granted a “release for shipment” status.
